Like most X-Philes I was saddened to hear the announcement of Chris Carter's decision to end the series after nine years. I started reading fan responses to the news on various mailing lists, newsgroups, and forums. I was impressed by both the quantity and quality of letters thanking the cast and crew for all the hard work they've done and bidding goodbye to the X-Files. Call me sentimental, but I decided to put together some of these letters as a tribute to my favorite show of all time. Since my own letter is only directed at Robert Patrick, I'll do a general thanks here. :o)
To Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Robert Patrick, Annabeth Gish, Mitch Pillegi, and everybody else involved in the making of the X-Files: Thanks! You have made this show a wonderful experience for us all that we will never forget.
We will miss you!
