"Decoy"- This movie is, first and foremost, a guy movie. Halfway through I found myself trying to remember what the plot was in the first place and found that I didn't even care. The movie opens with a scene where RP's character - Jack - is strung up in some warehouse or something, beaten to a bloody pulp and shot in the head - and it never slows down from then on. Plot is secondary to lengthy scenes of people chasing each other and firing many different kinds of weapons I can't even identify. There is a rather long chase sequence where Jack and his buddy Baxter are on a half-size school bus with the woman they are trying to protect (I would explain this plot element better, but as I said: it doesn't really matter), being chased by guys in a truck. These guys are so stupid that they actually try to drive the bus off the road in typical Hollywood fashion: by driving alongside it and ramming into it. As if a little truck is going to be able to push a *bus* off the road... The bad guys also create a blockade that consists of three people standing in the middle of the road with machine guns, grenades, bazookas, etc. Jack responds to this by standing on the hood of the bus with a machine gun and screaming "Come on you motherf***ers!!" as he shoots at them. Further down the road, when they stop, he looks at his gun and says "Damn, I'm out of ammo." In response to Baxter's expression he says "All right, so I got a little carried away..." to which Baxter replies "Yeah, I noticed." Which brings me to my next point: the best part of this movie is the dialogue. There is a scene wherein the aforementioned woman they are protecting sarcastically asks Jack, who hasn't said much of anything to her yet, if he always talks so much. When he says no, she asks "Does that mean you usually talk more or less?" About five beats later he says "Less..." You have to give Robert credit for finding a way to play the good guy in the movie and still be - as he puts it - a psycho. It turns out that ever since Jack was shot in the head he "spends half of his time talking to himself." He is very unstable. The words Lethal Weapon come to mind. I'm not sure if I recommend this movie or not. You'd best just decide for yourself if this one sounds interesting to you. ~Diandra Hollman
